Why can't I check-in on a Thursday?
If you are planning on using your full week, the check-in days are Friday, Saturday or Sunday, depending on the resort. Your check-in day may be specified on your Acknowledgment of Representations document if you have a fixed week ownership.
For Fixed week owners, changing to a different check-in day requires a developer exchange. You may contact us at 1-800-925-9999 or 407-355-1105. Developer exchanges are based on availability and do require a developer exchange fee. For some exchanges, a seasonal upgrade fee is required as well.
Float owners may have a choice of the three check-in days, depending on resort and based on availability. Developer exchange fees apply to changing from your home resort to another Westgate location and may also have an additional seasonal upgrade fee.
If you are planning on taking advantage of the split week usage option, you may check in any day of the week. All requests of this type are based on availability and are subject to fees and restrictions. You may refer to your Public Offering Statement or contact us to learn more about split week usage. (Note: Westgate Villas, Westgate Towers and Westgate Miami Beach owners may not take advantage of the split week at this time.)
